While many legends surround its early rulers, there is no single founding myth for the country.However, Morocco then was made up of small Berber tribes and settlements scattered across the mountains, deserts, and coastal regions. Most people relied on farming, herding, fishing, and trade for their livelihood. Over time, these communities united under powerful dynasties, leading to the formation of the Kingdom of Morocco as it is known today.
