- Miss B. Qayinaat Annowar read Law at Middlesex University and holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) in International Business Law. She is also a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb).
- Qayinaat practices at the Bar of Mauritius, undertaking cases across the full spectrum of litigation. Her areas of expertise include Corporate and Commercial Law, Intellectual Property, Family Law, Property Law, and Employment Law. She advises and assists clients on both procedural and substantive aspects of civil matters before all court levels in Mauritius. She has also assisted numerous clients in the registration of their trademarks before Intellectual Property Office across Europe, Africa and Asia. In addition, she has chaired disciplinary committees for various private companies.
- Before establishing her own practice, Qayinaat was part of a leading Mauritian law firm where she was involved in private equity transactions. Her earlier experience at Bowmans Mauritius likewise focused on private equity work and financing transactions.
- Qayinaat provides tailored legal advice to a wide range of clients, both domestic and international. Her work includes issuing legal opinions, which advises on matters relating to the Mauritian jurisdiction, and conducting legal due diligence exercises, along with drafting and reviewing a variety of agreements.
